Seattle - Fourth of July Weekend July, 2002 Saturday

We spent most of Saturday running around with our friend Joe and his girlfriend Nissa. They took us to a barbecue at their friends' cabin on the Olympic Peninsula. It was a long drive, and there were a lot of mosquitoes, but we had a good time.

Joe and Nissa were invited to a barbecue at their friends' lakeside cabin on the Olympic Peninsula, and we were invited along. The blue of the water and the green of the surrounding forest were a stunning combination.	Another beautiful shot of the lake and the surrounding forest.

An interesting feature of the barbecue was that many of the people in attendance were "Battle Bots" afficianados. Battle Bots is a tv show where contestants battle robots that they have constructed against each other. Joe and his friend tested their two bots on a cement bridge near the cabin.
