Neil's 28th Birthday June, 2002

Neil turned 28 on June 29th, and we celebrated with a weekend of festivities. On Saturday, we went on a picnic followed by hiking in Almaden Quicksilver Park. On Sunday, there was a barbecue at Neil's parents' house followed by chocolate cloud cake.

	These three pictures were all taken at Almaden Quicksilver Park in San Jose. Almaden Quicksilver used to be a mining community; the first picture was taken in front of the Quicksilver Mining Museum. From left to right, that's Neil, Michelle, Ray, and Czr. The second picture is the view from the top of the hiking trail, looking out over Santa Clara Valley. The photo on the left is a shot of the group on our arduous trek up the trail. Sorry for the poor picture quality, but I think this is the only picture we have of the group actually hiking.
